Sam Presti drops bombs during his end-of-season press conference

Sam Presti's most notable moments from his end-of-season press conference.

Oklahoma City Thunder general manager Sam Presti held his 16th annual end-of-season press conference mid-day on Tuesday. Presti usually only talks a few times per year, which typically includes his introductory press conference, post-season press conference, and post-draft press conference.

While OKC’s offseason is slotted to be one of the more dormant to date, Presti did give an excellent explanation for Gordon Hayward’s dissatisfaction with his role on the Thunder down the stretch of the regular season into OKC’s playoff run. It was one of the few times Presti, or better yet, any general manager, has taken the blame for an acquisition going sour.

On a much more lighthearted note, Presti recollected a story from the Russell Westbrook era when the NBA was threatening to fine the organization for league dress code violations. Remember, this period was during the height of Russell Westbrook’s becoming a household name in the fashion industry. The outfits he’d wear were quite unique for those who don’t remember.

Presti took an unusual approach when it came to how he was going to address the situation.
