Thunder schedule release: OKC with a tough start

The league-wide NBA schedule has been released, which essentially signifies the start of the 2022-23 season, with training camp right around the corner.

This is one of the more highly-anticipated schedules for the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are expected to be a tad bit more competitive with this year’s draft picks and the growth of Thunder veterans like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Luguentz Dort, Darius Bazley, and Co.

On Wednesday, the Thunder schedule was revealed, and it looks like this year’s team will be in the spotlight slightly more than last season. After just one nationally televised game in 2021-22, the Thunder will be featured four times on national TV, with one game slated to be on TNT and three on NBA TV. There could be more depending on how things go for them this year.

The Thunder season starts on Oct. 19, and the start is rough, to say the least, with 10 of their first 12 games being against playoff teams from last season. The other two games are against the Orlando Magic and the Detroit Pistons.

Below is their schedule for the 2022-23 season. Our predictions are coming soon.
