Week one of the NFL season always features exciting fashion. Players are excited about week one and want to show out in every aspect, sort of like children on the first day of school. During week two, players start to settle down and get back to their authentic self.
This week features a different group of five guys that really separated themselves from the rest of the competition. Fashion-wise, that is.
5. Marcedes Lewis, TE: Jacksonville Jaguars.
Lewis sported a quite controversial fit on Sunday. Many didn’t approve and many did, but his creativity is what made this week’s cut. You don’t see this too often and Suave Report likes it. Marcedes rocked a very modernistic looking suit, Amiri t-shirt, and Balenciaga shoes.
It’s good that Lewis made an impact in this way, considering he didn’t really make one in the game. The tight end was targeted twice for no yards.
4. Von Miller, LB: Denver Broncos.
Everyone knows Von Miller as one of the more colorful personalities in the league. He’s also well-recognized in the sports fashion world. He backed his reputation up in week two, decked out in an Amiri outfit.
Von Miller is a factor in every game he plays in but he was part of the reason the Broncos were so dominant against the Dallas Cowboys and more importantly, stopping Ezekiel Elliot. Miller finished with four tackles.
3. DeMarco Murray, RB: Tennessee Titans.
Murray isn’t necessarily known for his fashion sense but boy, did he nail this week. We get so caught up in all the extravagant fashion trends like our No. 5 selection, Marcedes Lewis, but a nice, clean and classic look is timeless. This three-piece suit earned this week’s third spot.
The former Oklahoma Sooner didn’t have a great game Sunday and hasn’t had the best opening to his seventh NFL season either with 21 carries for just 69 yards.
2. Brandon Marshall, WR: New York Giants.
Brandon Marshall’s team may be (2-0) and he may be having a challenging time getting acclimated to a new offense, but his immaculate fashion trends still remain strong. Monday night, Marshall sported Amiri, just like two others on this list. His laid back, club-appropriate outfit draws Suave Report’s attention and that’s why he’s this week’s runner-up.
Marshall finished his 2017 Monday Night Football debut as a New York Giant with just one catch for 10 yards.
1. Tyrod Taylor, QB: Buffalo Bills.
Tyrod took the crown for this week’s best dressed because of his extra sharp three-piece suit handcrafted by Elevee Lifestyle’s Chandra Ferrer. It holds the same purpose as our No. 3 selection, DeMarco Murray’s outfit, but it’s simply done better. There was more put into Taylor’s suit.
The Buffalo Bills quarterback has had a decent start to the season, splitting his first two games, but in week two’s loss to the Carlina Panthers, Taylor completed 17-of-25 of his passes for 125 yards and no touchdowns.
