Ranking The NFL’s Best Dressed of Week 1

Week one of the NFL was as entertaining as anticipated. Thursday night kicked off the season and it started with an upset as the Kansas City Chiefs routed the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots. Before all the drama went down on the field, the players walked into week one in style. Some better than others, but they all wore their version of a fly outfit.

There are five particular players that really showed out in fashion and some that didn’t have an ideal week one in the stat book but still delivered when it came to the fashion.

5. Antonio Brown, WR: Pittsburgh Steelers.

Antonio Brown showed up to his first game of the 2017-2018 football season wearing a Gucci Heritage Tiger Tuxedo, accompanied by bright red Louboutins. Although he came in fifth on this list, don’t be mistaken. This outfit is quite intriguing for the abstract minded. Not everyone will like this, but Suave Report most definitely does.

Brown also lit it up on the field with a league-leading 11 receptions for 182 yards.

4. Cam Newton, QB: Carolina Panthers.

Sorry for the blurry picture. We could only find a video that showed his outfit and this is a screenshot from that. Not too sure what brand he’s wearing, but does it matter? Cam has worn a bit of everything and the fashion world always knows to look to him for extravagant outfits on game day. He ranks fourth in week one, simply because of the creativity he came with.

Newton and the Panthers rolled over the San Francisco 49ers 23-3. He finished the game completing 14-of-25 passes for 171 yards and two touchdowns.

3. Orlando Scandrick, DB: Dallas Cowboys.

Screen Shot 2017-09-13 at 9.18.57 PMScandrick isn’t known for an extravagant fashion sense like Newton, but he always brings a clean and debonair look to the table and that’s exactly what he did in the Cowboys season opener against the New York Giants.

We get so wrapped up in the fancy looking suits that we forget about a simple, classic and clean looking fit.

Unfortunately, Scandrick didn’t have the season debut he’d hope for after breaking his hand during the game. He will miss 1-2 weeks to recover from his surgery.

2. Kam Chancellor, S: Seattle Seahawks.

His outfit choice is impressive. It’s loud, yet understated, kind of a perfect mix of both. Hopefully, he nails the rest of this season like he nailed the fashion this week.

Kam recorded three tackles in a 17-9 loss to Aaron Rogers and the Green Bay Packers.

1. Deandre Hopkins, WR: Houston Texans.

Hopkins casual fit almost looked formal with the tan double-breasted jacket. The light blue pants with white tennis shoes kept things casual but were the finishing pieces to the best outfit in the NFL after week one.

Hopkins also had a productive day on the field with 7 receptions for 55 yards and one touchdown.
