Rating Every NFL Teams 2025 Schedule Release Video

Finally, after several months of waiting, the NFL schedule has finally been released. With that, comes schedule release videos. A fun video created by every team to get fans excited for the upcoming season. Some of the videos are great, others not so much. I haven’t seen any of the videos prior to writing this but here is what I am basing my rankings off of.

  1. They will be rated on a 1 to 10 scale. 1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest
  2. Ratings will be determined based on creativity, easter eggs, celebrity cameos and vibes.
  3. No bias.
  4. Was the schedule clear and visible and a big part of the video

Buffalo Bills

Watch here: https://x.com/BuffaloBills/status/1922804369625579733

The Buffalo Bills decided to use AI for their schedule release video and by AI, I mean Allen Iverson. Although the set up and punchline were executed perfectly. He just showed the schedule on a piece of paper. Not the best way to use the schedule but still a fun video nonetheless.

Rating: 6.8/10

Miami Dolphins

Watch here: https://x.com/MiamiDolphins/status/1922804310082998520

Oh Miami, last year you did the fastest schedule release ever. Now you just do a generic hype video. It gets the point across. But like Tua in the winter, we expect more.

Rating: 2.9/10

New England Patriots

Watch here: https://x.com/Patriots/status/1922804125319954841

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy conducts an emergency press conference and does his Portnoy schtick roasting every team that isn’t the Patriots. I’ll spoil it for you, he claims the Patriots go 17-0. If he ate a pizza, it would have been a normal Barstool video.

Rating: 3.2/10

New York Jets

Watch here: https://x.com/nyjets/status/1922815377567871146

This video has 18 drawings inside of one photo. The drawings are really good too. It’s crazy creative wise and colorful. Solid work from the Jets here.

Rating: 7/10

Baltimore Ravens

Watch here: https://x.com/Ravens/status/1922804143636258945

I have not seen Severance yet. I didn’t understand a lot of these references and felt I was missing out on the jokes. Therefore, I cannot provide a proper rating for this schedule release video. It is a good video I will say.

Rating: N/A/10

Cincinnati Bengals

Watch here: https://x.com/Bengals/status/1922804248401641585

The Bengals went with the “Movie” route with Joe Burrow appearing on screen and saying “This is the 2025 Bengals schedule.” Before the credits roll with the actual schedule. When the “credits” end, the camera continues to roll with players making cameos while roasting their fellow AFC North teams. For a video clocking in at 3:47, there was a lot of “dead air” which made it a lot longer than it was. A solid video, great utilization of the schedule reveal. This gets a seven.

Rating: 7/10

Cleveland Browns

Watch here: https://x.com/Browns/status/1922804367457124408

So I genuinely don’t know what I just watched. Was that AI magic or a reference to something I missed? Adding elements to each team was interesting enough and providing the week you played them was a nice touch. But it still felt weird to me. It was as weird as taking a quarterback in the third and fifth round of this year’s draft.

Rating: 3.7/10

Pittsburgh Steelers

Watch here: https://x.com/steelers/status/1922804789647183960

The Steelers went with a sasquatch documentary type video, with references to their Ireland game vs the Vikings, the elf on the Cleveland Browns, and various food items and tables being crushed to seeing the sasquatch by singing Renegade. The sasquatch starts doing lineman moves. It turns out to be Cam Heyward as he was a metaphor for the schedule release itself. Pretty meta.

Rating: 8.6/10

Houston Texans

Watch here: https://x.com/HoustonTexans/status/1922805194649194873

The Texans did a simple “WAZZUPPPPP” video featuring the likes of Dennis Quaid and Sketch. Two people who I never thought would be used in the same sentence. Basically, a lot of people say Wazzup and they show the schedule. That’s it. It’s fine, not great but not horrible.

Rating: 4.8/10

Indianapolis Colts

Watch here: https://x.com/droppedballspod/status/1922826911291441576

The Colts also did a Minecraft based video, however they deleted it likely because of the part where Tyreek Hill (who is a Dolphin) in this video, gets detained by police. Other than that it’s a funny video but it’s almost the same thing as the Chargers. The Chargers just executed on it better. Making this one look second rate and not as creative. But to say it’s a bad video but the Chargers video was just better.

Rating: 4.9/10 (Half a point deducted for having the type of video as the Chargers.

Jacksonville Jaguars

Watch here: https://x.com/Jaguars/status/1922807022606602280

So the guy from that morning routine video where he spent four minutes in the air while diving into the pool? Well, he’s back and training at the Jaguars facility. So that’s cool. He made a few jokes about some of the teams Duval is playing. Sadly, this video just felt like they were hopping on a trend when it’s too late.

Rating: 4/10

Tennessee Titans

Watch here: https://x.com/Titans/status/1922804122501382655

The Titans introduced “Schedule-rizi” a treatment for football season withdrawal. Featuring side effects from every opponent on their schedule. A simple video with a funny premise. It wasn’t anything too crazy but still very enjoyable.

Rating: 7.4/10

Denver Broncos

Watch here: https://x.com/Broncos/status/1922804125881831759

They just had a bunch of little kids get thrown off of mutton while the PA announcer roasting the teams with a little Denver Bronco mascot taking home the championship. A funny premise and entertaining to watch kids get thrown off of sheep. I liked this one.

Rating: 6.8/10

Kansas City Chiefs

Watch here: https://x.com/Chiefs/status/1922804124388561291

The Kansas City Chiefs did a parody of Cash Cab, with trivia questions revealing the schedule throughout the car ride. Two of the people in the car I knew from Tiktok. I think they have a sports gossip podcast but I don’t know their names and I don’t want to look it up right now because I have so many videos to go through.

Rating: 5.8/10

Las Vegas Raiders

Watch this: https://x.com/Raiders/status/1922805063388438997

The Raiders did a This is SportsCenter parody or I guess multiple This is SportsCenter commercials. I enjoyed these. They did one with each team. Each one is as funny as the last. The Raiders got the nostagala out of me and I’m impressed. I loved it.

Rating: 9.6/10

Los Angeles Chargers

Watch here: https://x.com/chargers/status/1922804518250582232

The Chargers did it again. This time with a Minecraft video. There’s not much I have to say, you just have to watch it for yourself. We do have to shave some points off due to the Colts having a similar premise however.

Rating: 9.3/10 (Half a point deducted for having a similar video to the Colts)

Dallas Cowboys

Watch here: https://x.com/dallascowboys/status/1922804189396156476

Dem Boys went to a golf course and were goofing off while subtle references to each opponent was made throughout the course of the video. Sometimes subtlety is key. Which is something the Cowboys aren’t necessarily known for.

Rating: 6.2/10

New York Giants

Watch here: https://x.com/Giants/status/1922804122987921466

They did a Love Island parody with fans of their opponents. They nailed the stereotypes of each team. Which is fine. But that’s all it was.

Rating: 5/10

Philadelphia Eagles

Watch here: https://x.com/Eagles/status/1922805884150772160

The Eagles went with a simple approach. Flex the Super Bowl trophy you just won and reveal the schedule after the Philadelphia Orchestra finishes playing Also Sprach Zarathustra (more commonly known as Ric Flair’s entrance song or the song they play in all those space movies. It was simple and got the point across. “We are the Super Bowl Champions, try to beat us.

Rating: 5.9/10

Washington Commanders

Watch here: https://x.com/Commanders/status/1922804118491726175

The Commanders showed off their schedule by showing off the Roller Coaster Tycoon park they made in their “Commanders Tycoon” video. I loved this video. There were references to every city. A Chiefsaholic “leaving the park”, Philly fans throwing up, and a Chicago roller coaster crashing after the Maryland Miracle moment. This was really well done and I’m really impressed by the Commanders social media team here.

Rating: 9.9/10

Chicago Bears

Watch here:https://x.com/ChicagoBears/status/1922804157020311817

The story here is Lamorne Morris (from New Girl) works for the Chicago Bears and accidentally sends the Chicago Bears schedule to every Ben Johnson on the Chicago Bears email list. Morris, along with several Bears players and Spice Adams, break the phones of 34 people named Ben Johnson in order for them to not see the schedule. Very funny premise. One plot hole is that the ACTUAL head coach of the Bears, Ben Johnson, doesn’t get the email. Why wouldn’t Head Coach Ben Johnson be on the list? It’s still a good video. But points off for the plot hole.

Rating: 6.5/10

Detroit Lions

Watch here: https://x.com/Lions/status/1922804369504051498

This video was just footage of Detroit with helmets of the Lions and whoever their opponent was. While shot amazingly, it was just a little bland and lacked creativity.

Rating: 3.2/10

Green Bay Packers

Watch here:https://x.com/packers/status/1922804077886316952

Josh Jacobs takes a nap. He’s in a dream sequence with many cameos and memes to go around. My personal favorites were when Bob Harlan told a literal F to “Get the F off the field.”  and John Khun slaps you for not “keeping his name out your mouth.” a reference to the Chris Rock-Will Smith incident at the Oscars. It’s chaotic, funny and reveals the schedule at the end. A job well done by the Packers social media. (Great Tom Grossi cameo too)

Rating: 9.4/10

Minnesota Vikings

Watch here: https://x.com/Vikings/status/1922804183142383737

This video was simple. Fans got tattoos that were related to the Minnesota Vikings and/or the Vikings opponents on the schedule. While I was very impressed with the work of the tattoo artist. I hope that some of those tattoos aren’t real. A great concept however for a schedule release video. Kudos.

Rating: 7.9/10

Atlanta Falcons

Watch here: https://x.com/AtlantaFalcons/status/1922804130956910886

ATL Kart is a Mario Kart parody and features all that you can ask for in a schedule reveal. This was super creative and featured different Mario Kart tracks, as well as items including chicken wings and a “spiny shell football” a reference to Bill Belichick and his girlfriend. Vibes are high with this video.

Rating: 9.8/10

Carolina Panthers

Watch here: https://x.com/Panthers/status/1922804483136029097

The Panthers decided to have a “Secret reveal” completed with several players providing their own “secrets” including Xavier Legette having a British accent, Jaycee Horn working as a volunteer sheriff’s deputy and Chuba Hubbard living inside Bank of America Stadium (which from personal experience is very nice.) It’s a good schedule release, but I’ve seen better.

Rating: 6.4/10

New Orleans Saints

Watch here: https://x.com/Saints/status/1922804369772187879

Kellen Moore used an anger translator in a press conference video using media members from the New Orleans area and national media members. The screen shows a bottom line with the schedule sliding across the board. It does a great job showing everything it needed to while being funny at the same time.

Rating: 6.7/10

Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Watch here: https://x.com/Buccaneers/status/1922804860526723391

Former Buccaneer Head Coach Jon Gruden opens a big box of items filled with Buccaneers memorabilia that were references to opponents they play. Gruden drank several Red Bulls, opening this box and hyping up the Buccaneers. This video lasts 10 minutes. Way too long for a schedule release video. They could have cut this down. I have to watch 32 of these Jon!

Rating: 4.5/10

Arizona Cardinals

Watch here: https://x.com/AZCardinals/status/1922804169309638687

This was called 18 Bars, and it was pretty hard. Mack Wilson Sr. AKA Rocketship mentioned every opponent they play. It felt like an XXL freestyle. I like it. It was good way to show your players talents outside of football while providing an entertaining way to release the schedule. Props to Mack Wilson Sr.

Rating: 8.8/10

Los Angeles Rams

Watch here: https://x.com/RamsNFL/status/1922804137617436776

Brenda Song hosts a Rams News show. Brenda jokes about several teams while giving a Daily Show feel to this schedule release which I found really amusing. It doesn’t hurt that the Rams have Hollywood in their backyard. But we won’t hold that against them. If you have famous fans, use them.

Rating: 8.2/10

San Francisco 49ers

Watch here: https://x.com/49ers/status/1922804129870615001

The Niners had a Oregon Trail parody, called the Golden Trial where Sourdough Sam, the 49ers mascot traveled across the nation and interacted with all their opponents, giving you funny multiple choice answers with most teams Sam interacts with. Including “Da Pope” when facing the Bears and “Stop traffic for an influencer” with the Rams. The retro video game ones, when done right are top notch.

Rating: 9.3/10

Seattle Seahawks

Watch here: https://x.com/Seahawks/status/1922804559044542836

Devon Witherspoon is an action figure in an old 90s commercial. BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE. There’s so much more including a nod to Seahawk legend and Tulsa native Steve Largent, as well as Marshawn Lynch and the Kam Chancellor Bam Bam Van. It also featured “Evil Action figures” of the opponents on their schedule. This was so entertaining. Makes me want to buy the Steve Largent power hands figure.
