Oklahoma City Thunder Training Camp kicked off on Tuesday, September 27th, and while it felt like the first day of school for many, Sam Presti was in business mode, making moves early.
Here, you’ll find all of OKC’s moves throughout training camp as well as any notable updates on injuries, trades, big cuts, player progression, and more.

See you, Vit!
Vit Krejci’s short stint in OKC has come to an end as the Oklahoma City Thunder traded the 22-year-old to the Atlanta Hawks for Moe Harkless and a second-round pick.
Last season, in 30 games, Krejci averaged 6.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 23 minutes per game.
More Thunder Men are gone
The Thunder weren’t done with the roster changes ahead of Monday’s preseason opener against the Denver Nuggets. Two days following OKC trading Krejci, they announced the trade of newly-acquired Moe Harkless, as well as Derrick Favors, Ty Jerome, and Theo Maledon, as well as a 2026 second-round pick and cash considerations to the Houston Rockets for David Nwaba, Sterling Brown, Trey Burke, and Marquese Chriss.
Brown is outta there
Three days after the trade, the Thunder waived Sterling Brown. This is just a reminder that the overall previous trade wasn’t focused on building around the newly-acquired players. It was purely financial.
Expect more changes to come.
