Normally, this time of the year is booming. The NCAA tournament is in it’s inceptive period, the push for the NBA playoffs are in full swing, high school basketball just finished crowning state champions and the NFL’s free agency period approaches, with the draft right behind it.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 virus that has turned into the worst pandemic the modern world has seen, all of those things but one are on schedule, and that’s the NFL’s free agency period. Monday marked day one of this year’s highly anticipated period and it was headlined but two blockbuster trades caught my attention.
The two league-altering trades involved two of the unique fashionistas in the league, so there was a bit of an extra buzz, Deandre Hopkins and Stefon Diggs.
Deandre Hopkins, Houston Texans WR to Arizona Cardinals:

Hopkins’ 2019 Stats: 104 REC, 1,165 YARDS, 11.2 AVG, 7 TDs. He doesn’t drop passes, either. Never.
Stefon Diggs, Minnesota Vikings, WR to Buffalo Browns:

Diggs’ Stats: 63 REC, 1,130 YARDS, 17.9 AVG, 6 TDs.
