What’s ESPN going to show during COVID-19?

The COVID-19 pandemic has gotten out of control. Some think it’s a government ploy, some think it’s the end of the world as we know it. I’m somewhere in the middle of both of those opinions, but that doesn’t matter. What in the world is ESPN going to do for coverage since all major sports leagues are postponed? You know, since it’s exclusively a sports network and all.

There are so many people to think about during this time. There are the athletes themselves, the journalists covering the athletes, the arena part-time employees, and the list goes on. What about the World Wide Leader in Sports? It’s going to be nearly impossible for them to find anything to talk about that’s not coronavirus-related. Luckily, John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal tweeted out ESPN’s programming schedule for the time being.

I’m not entirely sure how the hosts of the shows will find topics to talk about each day, but it’ll be entertaining to watch/listen to them do so. Hopefully, things calm down soon but after Thursday’s happenings, this is the hand we’re all dealt.
