The average person is content with sticking to the script and going with the flow of life, which is fine. There are also innovators, the people that create their own lane and wouldn’t dare live their life by the book.
For the innovators, don’t wait for anyone’s seal of approval. Don’t let a single job dictate who you are or where you’re going and absolutely don’t let a job take away your originality or something you’ve worked hard for unless it’s on your watch.
Create your own lane, make opportunities for yourself and think critically about ways to improve at all times. You must stay patient since things obviously don’t always go as planned.
You simply have to believe in your vision. Having a strong personal and spiritual faith is key while being realistic and strategic is as well. Making your own lane can be extremely difficult but the fruits of your labor are well worth it.
Part of being a Grand Gentleman means being innovative and determined no matter what you do in life. It’s not about what your goals are, it’s about your motivation and your drive to be the best in whatever you decide to conquer. If you want to work at McDonald’s for the rest of your life, strive to be the best McDonald’s employee in the nation. If you want to own your own real estate company, provide a quality product at all times, if you want to be the President of the United States, strive to be the best politician that ever lived. Never settle for less and definitely don’t let someone tell you what you can or can’t do.
