Isaiah Hartenstein is adding another win to his résumé, this time off the court. The Thunder big man has officially signed with Skechers Basketball, joining a roster stacked with NBA and WNBA talent.
Hartenstein will take the floor in the brand’s SKX NEXUS™, Skechers’ newest performance shoe built for speed, stability, and support. Known for its focus on comfort and control, the NEXUS seems like a natural fit for a player who thrives on efficiency and team play.
“I teamed up with Skechers because they’re a brand with a plan that’s doing things their unique way, which I love,” said Isaiah Hartenstein. “Skechers Basketball shoes deliver the superior comfort and performance I need, so I look forward to showing fans from OKC to back home in Germany how they’re giving me more confidence on the court.”
This move continues Skechers’ aggressive push into the basketball world, a space once dominated by legacy brands. The company has built a strong lineup of pros who reflect its “Comfort That Performs” mantra, and Hartenstein’s inclusion reinforces that message.
“As Skechers is worn by players at the top of their game, a reigning champion like Isaiah Hartenstein is a perfect fit for our elite Skechers roster,” said Ben Stewart, vice president of Skechers’ Technical Performance Division. “Through his career, Hartenstein has evolved into a pivotal player and an essential part of a championship team’s success. That focus and determination is also key to our Comfort That Performs mantra to deliver the best basketball shoes to every level of player.”
Hartenstein’s steady rise through the league has mirrored OKC’s climb to the top. After stops with the Rockets, Nuggets, Cavaliers, Clippers, and Knicks, his arrival in Oklahoma City brought another layer of toughness and intelligence to a young core that turned into champions.
Now, his partnership with Skechers feels like a natural next step, a pairing that celebrates consistency, confidence, and craftsmanship both on and off the court.
Hartenstein joins a lineup that already features Joel Embiid, OG Anunoby, Julius Randle, Norman Powell, Terance Mann, Jabari Walker, and Josh Green, along with WNBA standouts Rickea Jackson, Kiki Iriafen, and 2025 Finals MVP Jackie Young.
Skechers’ presence in basketball is still new, but with names like Hartenstein on board, it’s quickly becoming a serious player in the performance footwear space.

Good for him. First time Skechers has been a player in rhe basketball arena.
