Trending news: Former Texas star Vince Young arrested

Remember Vince Young? Who can forget him, the former University of Texas Longhorn star quarterback and 2-time Pro-Bowl quarterback for the Tennessee Titans and Philadelphia Eagles was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated.

Early this Monday morning he was found driving around Austin, Texas in his 2016 Chevy Silverado. Austin police pulled him over after he changed lanes without signaling, was speeding, and swerved in between lanes. The police officer that pulled Young over stated that he had multiple signs of being intoxicated, including slurring his speech, very glassy eyes and a strong odor of alcohol. Not to mention, unusual laughing and swayed walking. The officer also added in the report that Vince was “uncooperative” but “polite.”

Young posted a $2,000 bond to the Travis County Jail. He was charged with a single misdemeanor DWI. He’s out of jail now.

The former Longhorn star currently works for the university’s diversity and community engagement program.

He hasn’t replied to any calls or emails sent by news outlets thus far.
